I guess I should search again before I ask, but I've been looking on and off for a few years for some digital form of "Hello Operator". Anyone know where I can get it?
On another note, I'm excited to see Was (Not Was) back in action! I've always wanted to see them live and will finally get to do so at the Birchmere in May!!

Thanks, Cody! And, well, I knew I shoulda searched again before I posted--to answer my own question, the classic 12" version of "Hello Operator" is on the Woodwork Squeaks CD and is available as a 99-cent download at Amazon. I'm listening to it now!

I'd like to know the (kbps) quality of that download you got. I wonder how high the quality is of those downloads. I always back up my cds to 320kbps quality.

If you ever see a copy of the listen like thieves cd single on ebay buy it as that has a 1992 recording of hello operator on that is absolutely essential, and in my opinion a millions times better the the 12' mix released on Ze. If anyones interested in a copy on mp3 pm me your email and i'll try sending you a copy.
