Caught their show at Johnny D's on April 30. The band was tremendous! Tight, tight instrumentals and all 3 vocalists were in top form. Good, enthusiastic audience - although kind of small. Could be the Celtics/Hawks game 5 kept some people home.
Don Was came out to do "I Feel Better than James Brown" and was clearly ad-libbing most of his rap. He was very funny. Entire band seemed to be having a blast, and it showed in their performance. I give the show a 10 out of 10. Went with a friend who previously was not a fan. This show left him speechless. He has seen hundreds of club performances and said he'd put this one in the top 3!

I'm glad to hear that the first show of the tour went o.k.
They are as good as I advertise and more live.
Are you sure it was Don that freestyled?
Don only played bass when I saw him in February.
Don has dreadlocks and David doesn't.
David stands on the right site of the viewed stage.
I know what you're talking about with the adlib
that he does he changes during every set.
I'd like to know the set list soon to compare it to the San Fran gig.

From what I've heard Was Bros and Company
will be hitting the road again later this year.
